I would like to see these kinds of rooms or the hotel with a pull out bed for a young child.

    • Yorkie Man

That would rather defeat having a child-free zone. Sorry.

      • Lee

It’s not child free as a single parent and child could book one of these.

True enough, I stand corected. I just hadn’t come across any children in the apartments when I’ve stayed in Elveden or Windfell.

Speaking entirely for myself here, having been attending Elveden for over 20 years and now with grown up children, the chance for us as a couple to enjoy some peaceful time away from children is a big attraction. There is plenty of accommodation on offer for families, but little for couples. And we enjoy Center Parcs just as much as families do.

There are lots of 2 bed hotel rooms and now 2 bed apartments if I was to travel with my 3 year old I would have to book a 2 bed lodge. Even though she would end up in with us.

Would be nice to have some twin rooms as sometimes I like to have weekends away with a friend or family member, if there’s only 2 of us we either will have to share a bed or get a 2 bed villa.

Why no penthouses like at whinfell need some high end for less people, two people can’t really do the treehouse by themselves
