We’re proud to be celebrating a major milestone this week, as the Center Parcs UK Facebook page has reached 100,000 likes!

After launching our page in 2010, we’ve had an incredible amount of support and engagement from you, our fans. We spoke to our three most active Facebook fans to find out just what keeps them coming back for more.

“I knew I was mad about Center Parcs but I had no idea I’d be in the top three fans. It takes my obsession to a new level!

“For me a Center Parcs break is an experience and that includes the planning stages too. The Facebook page gives fans like me the opportunity to discuss with others the things that are happening at their favourite Village. It’s always good to share information on things like activities and accommodation.

“I now have a group of friends who I met and talked to on the Facebook page and have gone on to meet in person at Center Parcs. The page has a real community feel to it.

“Facebook has made Center Parcs more accessible. When I first visited Center Parcs in 2005, there was no Facebook page, but I was definitely an advocate after just a couple of visits. Now, the page does helps to highlight my loyalty to friends, several of whom have come to me for advice regarding visits to Whinfell Forest.

“I like that Center Parcs staff are available to answer questions on the page when required, but the fans are often able to give their opinion from a customer point of view. It’s good to be able to give first-time guests useful tips that I wasn’t aware of on my first trip. Things such as making the most of your first and last days by arriving early and leaving late is probably the biggest tip, along with taking plenty food for the wildlife.

The Facebook page is also a good place to leave constructive criticism. It’s impossible to get things right all the time, but my experience is that Center Parcs are quick to act on feedback and put things right.”

“I have been visiting Center Parcs regularly for the past 25 years. The first time was when my son was almost two and I was pregnant with my daughter. They are 25 and 27 now. So Center Parcs has been a happy part of our lives for so long. We now visit with their children, too.

“I always have a Center Parcs break booked and I really look forward to going. I like looking at the Facebook page each evening after a busy or stressful day; I find it relaxes me somehow. I love seeing all the new things that happen. Watching Woburn Forest being built was brilliant, especially as it is only 40 minutes away from where we live.

“I’ve actually made a couple of Facebook friends from the Center Parcs Facebook page; two people who love Center Parcs as much as I do”

“I like reading everyone’s comments and seeing photos of what’s happening at Center Parcs.
I spend ages looking and planning what we will do on our next break. I also like looking at the pictures of the different Lodges and dream of staying in a Treehouse or Lodge with a hot tub. I know we will never stay in one, but it’s nice to look and dream!

“Because of the Facebook page I feel closer to Center Parcs. As I am always looking at what’s going on, Center Parcs is like an old friend I guess. I like how you can ask questions on the – I’m always doing that – and you get a quick answer. The replies are always so helpful and friendly too, it’s great.

“You also see the same people commenting, I’ve actually made a couple of Facebook friends from the Center Parcs Facebook page; two people who love Center Parcs as much as I do.”

“I enjoy reading the Center Parcs Facebook page to find out what other people have experienced and enjoyed at different Villages; as the accommodation and features are always changing I want to know what would suit me best for my next visit.

“Visiting the page so often makes me feel closer to the company.  I like reading about other peoples’ experiences and try to offer advice in any way I can. It makes me feel more loyal to Center Parcs because of this.

“I love that the Facebook page keeps me well informed. I enjoy the blog posts and discovering how things are changing. It’s lovely to chat with other Center Parcs fans. I was introduced to Center Parcs by my daughter many years ago and still remember our first Lodge at Sherwood Forest: 199 Cedar.

“I like reading about other peoples’ experiences and try to offer advice in any way I can”

“My year would not complete without and break to Center Parcs. In fact, so far this year I have been four times and every time I visit, I love it even more.”
