A sneak preview of our plans for Las Iguanas

Longleat Forest is welcoming Las Iguanas to the family later this year – here we exclusively share with you the plans for how the restaurant is going to look

It’s not long now until work begins to bring the festival atmosphere of Latin American to Longleat Forest. So we thought this would be the perfect time to show you what the fabulous design firm – B3 Designers – have in store for the new hottest spot on the Village.

Mood board

The overall feel is laid back with a hint of fiesta. A beach-y vibe will make it feel like you’ve just stepped off the Brazilian sand into a seaside bar far away from Longleat Forest. The look of the restaurant will match the character and the food – colourful, exotic and exciting.

Materials

In the same vein, the palette of materials used includes plenty of vibrant, warm colours and rich textures. Distressed timber will be used across the floor alongside reclaimed crates making up the back bar. These will give an organic, spontaneous look that suits the relaxed atmosphere. Geometric patterns on granite tiles and textured upholstery sets off the not-too-put-together look.

Layout

Las Iguanas will move into the old Café Rouge restaurant (but don’t worry – Café Rouge will move into Hawtons so you can still enjoy their fine French food). It has bags of character including its own stream and stepping stones running through the centre of the restaurant! There’ll be plenty of greenery throughout to reference the lushness of central Latin America.

Terrace day view

There’ll be booths, banquettes and tables for parties of all sizes – making Las Iguanas the perfect venue for couples, families and big groups alike. And of course, there’ll be a gorgeous bar area where you can wait for your table or just grab a famous Las Iguanas margarita to cool off after a long day.

When will this be open? We are coming at the beginning of November, will it be up and running by then?
