There’s a new activity making waves in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise at all villages.

In Mermaids and Sharks, water lovers (participating children must have a level 5 ASA/STA swimming award or equivalent swimming ability to take part in this session – we don’t need to see a certificate but there is a test to demonstrate 25m confident swimming before the activity begins) aged 6-12 can become a magical mermaid or a stealthy shark.

Wearing a special swimming tail, they learn how to kick, twist and glide their way around the shallows of our Subtropical Swimming Paradise, diving for treasure on the ‘ocean floor’.

Braver swimmers can even try diving for treasure on the ‘ocean floor’. Our photographer will snap away, so you can take home the perfect memento of your little one as a mermaid or shark.

Fancy trying it on an upcoming break? This one’s popular, so be sure to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
