Winter Wonderland at Woburn Forest in pictures

These photos of Woburn Forest's first ever Winter Wonderland are guaranteed to get you in the Christmas spirit. Grab a mince pie and settle in.

This time last month, Woburn Forest was gearing up to launch its first ever Winter Wonderland. Lights were being strung around trees, the reindeer were settling into their temporary home and Santa’s Woodland Workshop was having one last lick of paint before the big man himself arrived.

Since Friday 6 November, the Village has fallen under a Christmassy spell. If you aren’t lucky enough to be visiting Woburn Forest between now and Sunday 3 January, 2016, then here’s your chance to experience a little of the Winter Wonderland magic.

We’ll begin near Santa’s Woodland Workshop, where you can start your way down the winding path through the trees…

Just past the fairy houses is a collection of quaint timber cabins, home to enchanting woodland creatures who are helping with essential Christmas preparations – everything from baking mince pies to making reindeer antler headbands.

Making the trip from their native Lapland, our four magnificent reindeer are enjoying the relative luxury of Woburn Forest, where they have plush hay and plenty of food and water. There’s a dedicated team at Woburn Forest who look after them every day – why not read more about how we get ready for these stunning visitors?
