Jobs boost for local economy as 92% of Woburn applicants hail from region

Half of the 1,500 roles advertised have been filled after receiving 11,000 applications

Since beginning our Woburn Forest recruitment drive in July last year, we’re pleased to reveal that we have received more than 11,000 applications for the 1,500 vacancies on offer. Half of the roles – ranging from positions in on-site restaurants, retailers and guest facilities – have now been filled. Even better, we’re delighted to tell you that 92 per cent of applicants hail from the local area of Bedfordshire.

The roles that have attracted most attention so far have been for Guest Services, retail and security, as well as lifeguard roles for the guest-favourite Subtropical Swimming Paradise.

Judi Leavor, HR Director at Center Parcs says: “It’s fantastic to have received so many job applications for the new site already. This recruitment drive should have a tremendous impact on the local community in terms of economic growth, both in the short and long term.”
