In this new monthly series, we’ll bring you all the latest goings on at Center Parcs, from baby animals being born to new activities being installed, and everything in between. Plus, each month there’s an exclusive sneak preview of what we’re busy working on bringing you next month.
The Pancake House gets a facelift
Check out the fresh, Scandinavian-inspired new look that The Pancake House at Sherwood Forest has received this month. There are bright primary colours and light, airy spaces that work perfectly with the open views over the lake and the traditionally prepared Dutch pancakes on offer. Be sure to pop down next time you’re visiting us at Sherwood Forest.
Brand new bikes
Exploring the woodland trails that wind through our forests is one of our guests’ favourite ways to spend their time here. But for guests who may have issues with mobility – or just those who fancy a rest! – this can be hard work. That’s why we have introduced a new state-of-the-art fleet of Electric Cycles across all our Villages. Easy to ride and steer with motor assistance in pedalling, they’re available to hire from the Cycle Center now, meaning the whole family can enjoy a sunny bike ride through the woods together. Book now.
A slew of awards
We’ve been making room for a whole host of awards this month from review site TripAdvisor. Aqua Sana at every Village has received a Certificate of Excellence for 2015, awarded to destinations that receive consistently high feedback from guests for the previous year.
Our four most long-established Villages, Whinfell Forest, Sherwood Forest, Elveden Forest and Longleat Forest have all been inducted into the coveted TripAdvisor Hall of Fame. This elite position is held only by top companies in the travel and tourism industry who have achieved a Certificate of Excellence for five years running.
It’s been a big month for wildlife on the villages, with an otter caught on camera for the first time at Longleat Forest, and a whole clutch of baby birds hatching at Sherwood Forest.
Woburn turns one
Woburn Forest had a big month, celebrating its first birthday on 6th June. The anniversary celebrations lasted the whole weekend, with music, games entertainers and a giant interactive artwork that our guests helped to create.
There’s an exciting new activity for families coming to Elveden Forest next month. We can’t tell you too much at this stage as our talented team are still putting the finishing touches together. But we can tell you it’s big, it’s interactive and it’s completely unique to Center Parcs.
