As part of our collaboration with the Enid Blyton association to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Famous Five books, we're bringing you a guide to building the best den in town, come rain or shine.

As a child, nothing was ever quite as thrilling as building a den and declaring rule over your own private kingdom. Secret password? Of course. No parents allowed? Naturally. Your den, your rules…
