If you’re planning a visit to Center Parcs this spring or summer and you’re looking for things to do, check out our round-up of 23 unique, unusual and once-in-a-lifetime activities you can experience during your family break. Are you ready to make 2023 your most adventurous year yet?

Test your head for heights

Get ready to reach new heights with our activities high in the treetops. Whether you’re swinging through the trees on Aerial Adventure, testing your balance on Aerial Tree Trekking or even taking on The Drop, unleash your inner adrenaline junkie with these exhilarating activities.

Go off-road

Thrill-seekers of all ages can get behind the wheel and explore the forest in style, whether you’re zooming around the all-terrain track on the Quad Bike Safari or gliding along on a futuristic Segway. And little ones won’t be left out – they can take their turn in the driving seat in Off-Road Explorers!

Take to the lake

A spring or summer Center Parcs break is the perfect time to cool off with some watersports on the lake. Bounce, climb and slide across our inflatable AquaParc, or test your balance on a Stand Up Paddleboard – a unique combination of surfing and canoeing!

Make waves in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise

We all love swimming, splashing and sliding in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, but did you know you can also try some unique water activities? Unlock your inner daredevil with an underwater Aqua Jetting adventure, or cheer on your little ones as they cruise around the pool on Mini Jet Skis. And of course, if you’re visiting Whinfell Forest, get ready for some gravity-defying thrills on the brand-new Tropical Cyclone ride, which will be opening in spring 2023.

Immerse yourself in nature

Discover a wide variety of educational, nature-themed activities and make the most of the great outdoors during your spring or summer break. You could get hands-on and creative with our Den Building and Decorating or Build a Nature House activities, come face-to-face with majestic birds of prey in Falconry, or spot wildlife on the Nature Walk at Dusk.

Indoor adventures

And if the weather takes a turn, you’ll find plenty of exciting indoor activities. Why not teach yourself a new skill such as Fencing or Bollywood Dancing? If you’re looking to burn off some energy, step onto our giant 12ft pool table for a game of Football Pool, try the interactive Family Ball Wall or get competitive with a game of Glow Badminton on a glow-in-the-dark badminton court!

If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, try the immersive Virtual Reality Experience, climb through an artificial caving system in the Caving Adventure or put your skills to the test as you try to conquer one of our escape rooms, such as Explorer’s Quest!
