Tantalising new menus at Sports Café and Huck’s

You asked, and we listened. Our old menus weren’t tempting your tastebuds like they used to, so we decided it was time to shake things up. We trialled a host of new dishes with a selected group of guests, giving them the opportunity to tell us which dishes should make it onto our new menus – and the results are in.

From a sharing steak platter to small bowl tapas-style dishes, our new menus for Huck’s and Sports Café are now live across all our villages!

James Haywood, our Group Food and Beverage Innovation Manager, said:

“We wanted a premium feel for Huck’s, keeping the ingredients fresh and all smoked and cooked in house. I want to make sure our chefs are paying attention to detail and keeping the quality high. For Sports Café, the aim was to enhance the breakfast menu, providing more healthier options and adding fresh fruit, granola and avocado to some of our dishes.

A big part of this menu development project was making sure we cater for all guests so everyone can enjoy interesting and vibrant dishes - so we’re offering vegan and gluten free menus. Sports Café is a hub surrounded by leisure activities, so I wanted to introduce more interactive food, where friends and family can come and go with high quality small sharing dishes.”

Huck’s American Bar and Grill

A firm favourite with families, Hucks offer’s a warm American welcome. Take your tastebuds on a road trip across the States with smoky flavours of the Deep South and fresh Californian dishes. Huck’s fans will be reassured to know that we’ve kept many of our famous favourites on the menu, including sizzling fajitas, juicy burgers and fallin’ off the bone ribs.

New stars on the menu include a Huck’s sharing steak platter for two – a 24oz grilled club steak, served with mac ‘n’ cheese, creamed corn, slow roasted garlic and thyme plum tomatoes, a watercress and rocket salad, your choice of fries and sauce. Drooling yet? There’s also cheesy garlic bagel bread that’s perfect for sharing, Huck’s Hawaiian tuna poke bowl and the Moving Mountains vegan onion BBQ burger.

To finish, our desserts are simply dreamy! Can you tackle the Hot fudge sundae – a towering stack of salted caramel and vanilla ice cream, chocolate brownie, popcorn, crushed chocolate and whipped cream with a hidden, molten fudge centre? Or perhaps something zesty and refreshing with our authentic Florida dessert, the Huck’s key lime pie?

Older children can choose dishes such as steak, ribs and pasta from our Huckster’s menu, while little ones can enjoy a meal deal including a main, dessert and drink. And of course, not forgetting our smallest diners - babies can enjoy free Ella’s Kitchen organic baby food. Just ask your server for availability.
