The colder months are creeping in and everything is turning golden, autumn is here. Let’s beat the summer blues by creating an autumn bucket list, tick these off at home or on your Center Parcs break. There’s something for the whole family to get involved in, keep reading to see our autumn bucket list suggestions.
Take a family autumnal walk
Gather the whole family together and take an autumnal walk in the brisk cool air. Watch the leaves fall off the trees and all the autumn colours fill the landscapes in golden hues. Pull on your trusty boots to jump and play in the leaves to get that satisfying crunch. Our villages are set in the heart of the forest, with endless woodland to explore.
Snuggle up inside with a hot chocolate
Cosy up in front of the fire and create a delicious hot chocolate. Snuggle together as a family under the blankets and put on your favourite film or admire the wildlife on your lodge patio, the perfect end to a day of autumn-filled activities. We have a range of things to do perfect for the autumn months at Center Parcs.
Go pinecone and conker foraging
On an autumnal walk, forage for some ‘treasures’ hidden under the trees, have a competition to see who can collect the most. Collect on our villages to take home with you or in your local area. Turn your pinecones into an arts and crafts project, paint them green and turn them into miniature trees, perfect to place on your mantlepiece or create an autumn scene in your home.
Make some new friends
At Center Parcs our villages are a hub for natural wildlife, we help them thrive and you can too. Support the animals in the colder months by building a nature house for them to take shelter and keep warm in. You can create one at our Build a Nature House activity, take it home and place in your garden, sit back and watch different creatures visit your garden.
Build a den
Create your own fortress either in the forest or at home, and let your imagination run wild. Book a slot on our Den Building and Decorating activity to learn all the tips and tricks to make the perfect den, work as a team to build an impressive structure of your own design using the forest's natural resources. Or have you got the right password to enter the blanket fort? Gather all your blankets and pillows to create a fort in the comfort of your own home.
