Your guide to a baby friendly break

Body Content

Morning

Our lodges have everything you need to start your day, use the fully equipped kitchen and highchair to fill their tummies with breakfast. Let them crawl or toddle around the lodge and take in the natural surroundings watching the ducks and squirrels from your lodge window.

Once it’s nap time, head out with your pushchair, or hire a cycle with a trailer, and explore the miles of paths within the forest.

Afternoon

While your little one is (hopefully still) napping enjoy some relaxation time and settle down for a bite to eat at lunchtime at the Sports Cafe or Starbucks where there is no need to worry about booking. When the little one wakes, enjoy a coffee and a sandwich and use the baby station with microwaves and a bottle warmer to fill your baby up for the rest of the afternoon. You can then enjoy one of the soft play areas, or head back outside to one of the adventure parks and see them smile on the swings.

In the late afternoon why not try a new activity and make some memories, you will remember forever. Head to the Subtropical Swimming Paradise which is always heated to 29.5 degrees and get involved in our 30-minute Swim Pups class with your little ones if they are over 3 months old. Let them experience their first dip in a pool and get involved in a fun, interactive activity led by a qualified STA instructor.

Or if you need some me time, take advantage of a crèche session for your child. Have some peace of mind that your little ones are being cared for by professionally trained childcare staff, while you spend time in the Aqua Sana Spa where you can find everything you need to relax by exploring over 15 spa experiences.

Evening

In the evening return to your lodge, put the log burning fire on and settle in for the night. Our baby-friendly lodges are specially kitted out to help minimise your stress with your baby’s nighttime routine, whether you are staying in one of our Treehouses or Woodland Lodges.

Once your little one is fast asleep sit back and relax. If you don’t fancy cooking, it’s no problem our chefs are on hand to make you a delicious takeaway. Collect your order from Dining In from 5 pm or we can make it even easier and deliver your food to your lodge for a small fee.

Make some new family memories you will remember forever and book a break in the forest for you and your little one in 2019.
