Five things to do in your garden this Easter

Barbecue

As soon as we have a long weekend in the spring, the first thing that comes to mind is a classic barbecue.

Grab some supplies and make a feast fit for a king; you can’t go wrong with burgers, hot dogs and salads. You could even toast marshmallows on the barbecue for a sweet treat at the end.

Garden games

If you’re feeling crafty, you and your little ones can create DIY garden games together this Easter.

From back garden bowling to memory games, you’ll see your kids get the satisfaction of creating something and then having fun playing with it!

Gardening

Early spring is the ideal time for seeds to be sown. From carrots to cauliflower, lettuce to salad, these can be sown in mild areas in good soil.

If you want to give your garden a makeover, you can head to a garden centre and also plant new shrubs and plants.

Easter egg hunt

Is it even Easter without a weekend filled with sweet treats?

Hide Easter themed goodies around your garden and watch the joy as your little ones find the treats!

Picnic

Whether it’s in your garden or at the local park, all you need is some tasty treats and a blanket to create the ultimate picnic for you and your family

If you want to try something new, why not try our Muffaletta recipe: an all-in-one picnic sandwich or bring along some mouth-watering sweet mini egg Easter buns.

Happy Easter!
